At least nine illegal gamblers were arrested in an anti-gambling operation launched by the Manila Police District (MPD) in Sta. Ana district on Thursday, Nov. 24.
Police identified the suspects as Joseph Ryan Talabong, 31; Marlon Roque Constantino, 44, barangay tanod; Jan Eirol Baculi Loro, 21; Defin Dela Cruz, 25; Erwin Dela Cruz Encarnacion, 31; Alvine Villarin Revollyedo, 43; Luisito Lobo Jr. Torres, 334; Jackielyn Delloro Sicad-sicad, 33; and Maria Melody Tondo Barsaga, 36, all residents of Sta. Ana, Manila.
The suspects were arrested for playing “cara y cruz” on Pasig Line St. in Barangay 777, Zone 85, Sta Ana, at around 2:45 a.m..
Police seized bet money from the suspects who will be charged for violation of P.D. 1602 or the anti-illegal gambling law.
