ILOILO CITY – Murder charges were filed on Friday, Nov. 18, against 11 suspects in the killing of three young businessmen – John Paul “JP” Bosque, Chrysler Floyd Fernandes, and Mark Clarence Libao – in Estancia, Iloilo last Sept. 14.
Charged were Jevron Parohinog, the survivor of the incident, his brother Jix, Michael Porras, Michael Quiatchon, Benzen Llamado, and six ‘’John Does.’’
Police have been investigating Jevron for over two months as he allegedly owed his friend and business partner Bosque a large sum of money.
Jevron said he was the driver of the Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) owned by Bosque while his three other friends were passengers.
Jevron claimed that armed suspects stopped and fired at the vehicle in Barangay Villa Panian. However, no bullet holes were found in the vehicle.
The killing was a high-profile crime that the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) conducted its own investigation.
Col. Noel Aliño, director of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO), was present during the filing of the case.
The victims and Jevron are in their 20s.
