Wright fired 18 points on a 4-of-6 clip from beyond the arc, outgunning Ramos who only finished with 10 points for Hokkaido.

It was Jarrod Uthoff, however, who proved to be the biggest weapon for Kyoto, dropping a monster double-double of 35 points and 15 rebounds while Yoshiaki Kubot added 21. Shawn Long paced Hokkaido with 27 points and seven boards.

Also victorious in B.League return was Thirdy Ravena as the San-En NeoPhoenix held off Akita Northern Happynets, 81-75.

The high-flying forward made a good account of himself with 10 points and seven rebounds, providing support to Yante Maten who had 29 points and 13 rebounds while Isaiah Hicks and Ryusei Sasaki added 19 and 17 points, respectively.

Ray Parks Jr., fresh from a solid performance with Gilas Pilipinas in the fifth window, also provided a solid contributions to his team but were still not enough as the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins fell to Toshiba Brave Thunders, 85-73.

Parks finished with 15 points, built on three triple, forming a Dolphins one-two punch with Takumi Saito who added 16.

Their efforts though went futile in the end as Michael Young showed the way for the Brave Thunders with 22 points while naturalized Japanese Nick Fazekas added an all-around number of 17 points, 10 rebounds and six assists.

Struggling in his return was Kiefer Ravena who went scoreless in the contest, missing all of his six shots from the field although he had three rebounds, two steals and an assist in Shiga’s 51-72 loss to the Ryukyu Golden Kings.

Over at the B2 League, Kobe Paras continued to impress with Altiri Chiba, finishing with 11 points on three triples to help his team notch its second straight win with a 98-64 rout of Tokyo Earthfriends Z.

In contrast, Gilas sniper Jordan Heading missed all of his attempts from deep although he still managed to finish with 17 points for Nagasaki. His team however still fell short against Saga, 110-107
