A total of 600,000 liters of clean and potable water was dispensed by the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) to typhoon Paeng victims in Cotabato City and Maguindanao.
In a statement on Saturday, Nov, 19, PRC said that over 11,000 households from these provinces benefited from the aid.
PRC Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Team also conducted a hygiene and sanitation lecture demonstration for 4,000 individuals in these areas.
"Water sources are among the lifelines damaged after a storm; some water sources might be contaminated, and sanitation might also be compromised," PRC said.

As of writing, 1,024,497 liters of water have already been distributed to Paeng-affected communities in Laguna, Zamboanga City, Cotabato City, and Maguindanao.
Also, there were at least 38 cities and provinces nationwide that benefited from PRC's emergency medical services, water search and rescue, hot meals, food items, clearing and flushing of debris, health promotion, hygiene kits, sleeping kits, kitchen sets, cash assistance, and water, and other humanitarian aid.
