Cops seize P510,000 ‘shabu’ in Caloocan City


Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS) personnel seized a total of P510,000 worth of suspected shabu and arrested a man in Barangay 175, Caloocan City on Wednesday, Nov. 16.

The CCPS-Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) said the the arrested suspect, Micheal Labriaga, 34, from the same barangay, was arrested in a buy-bust operation.

The SDEU, led by Maj. Dennis Odtuhan, launched the entrapment against the suspect at Robis 1, Brgy. 175 at around 12:20 p.m. on Wednesday, along with members of the 3rd Mobile Force Company Regional Mobile Force Battalion-National Capital Region Police Office (3rd MFC RMFB-NCRPO).

Confiscated from the suspect were three pieces of plastic sachets containing 75 grams of alleged shabu valued at P510,000, the buy-bust money, and a blue coin purse.

Labriaga will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), police said.
