TANZA, Cavite – An eight-year-old girl drowned in a resort in Barangay Sahud Ulan on Sunday, Nov. 13.
According to Tanza Municipal Police Station's investigation, the victim was swimming with her cousins in a four-foot-deep pool when the incident happened.
The victim reportedly got separated from the group and drowned.
Rescuers performed cardio-pulmonary resuscitation on the girl and rushed her to Manas Medical Clinic.
However, the attending physicians pronounced the victim dead on arrival.
