Two individuals listed as most wanted persons were arrested on Monday, Nov. 7, the Manila Police District (MPD) reported.
Police identified the suspects as Michael Abad Capinpin, 43, a businessman, and a resident of Paraiso St., Sampaloc, Manila.
Operatives of the Intelligence and Warrant Section (PS-4 MPD) nabbed Capinpin along Road 10 St., Sampaloc, Manila at about 5:20 p.m. on Monday.
The suspect is accused of usurpation of authority with a recommended bail of P10,000.
Operatives of PS-4 MPD also apprehended Edward Valmonte Untalan, 43, unemployed, and presently residing in Manga St. Sampaloc, Manila.
He was arrested along Manga Ave., Sta. Mesa, Manila at about 5:10 p.m. on Monday.
Untalan had a warrant of arrest for qualified theft with a recommended bail of P90,000.
Both the arrested suspects are now detained at the Station’s Custodial Facility.
