479 law violators nabbed, over P1.6 M worth of illegal drugs seized in weeklong operation in Central Luzon


CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga -- The anti-criminality campaign of Central Luzon from October 31 to November 6, 2022 resulted in the arrest of 479 wanted persons.

Police Regional Office 3 Regional Director BGen. Cesar Pasiwen said that of the 479 arrested, 229 have standing warrants of arrest, 31 of whom are most wanted with cases of murder, homicide and rape.


A total of 235.77 grams of shabu with estimated value of P1,598,000, 202.80 grams of marijuana amounting to P24,360 and 17 assorted firearms from 151 arrested individuals were also confiscated.


Ninety persons were apprehended for illegal gambling and P60,260 cash bets were confiscated while nine individuals were arrested for violation of special laws.


BGen. Pasiwen stressed that Central Luzon cops remain steadfast in mobilizing their resources and keeping their unrelenting efforts to address lawlessness in the four corners of the region.
