Police arrest 5 wanted persons in Las Piñas City and Pasay City


Police arrested five wanted persons in simultaneous manhunt operations in Las Piñas City and Pasay City on Friday, Nov. 4,

The operations were conducted by members of the Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) of Las Piñas Police and Pasay City Police.

Las Piñas City police chief Col. Jaime Santos said three suspects identified as Federico Domingo, 59; Michael Cagomoc, 24; and Daniel Perez, 30, were arrested during the manhunt operations conducted by the WSS team.

Santos said and arrest order was served to Domingo who is now detained at the city police custodial facility. He was tagged as No. 2 wanted person for the month of November in the city.

His arrest warrant was issued by Judge Anne Beatrice Aguana Balmaceda of Las Piñas Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 200 on Sept. 28 for two counts of violation of Republic Act 9165 (The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

Cagomoc was nabbed in Gloria Compound, Las Pinas, on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Marquez of Family Court Branch 2 on Oct. 27 for violation of RA 7610 (anti-child abuse law), with a recommended bail of P180,000.

Perez, meanwhile, was arrested around 7:30 p.m. at Pag-asa Village, Barangay Pilar on order of Judge Julieto Fabrero of Calauag Quezon RTC Branch 63 for a rape case, with no bail recommended.

In Pasay City, Col. Byron Tabernilla, city police chief, said the WSS team arrested John Ely Lotolio,19, and Aldrin Saliguma, 21, tagged as No.2 and 6 wanted persons, respectively.

Tabernilla said Lotolio was arrested for rape and sexual assault case. The arrest order against him was issued by Judge Elmer Joseph Guerzon of Pasay City RTC Branch 114 on Feb. 28 , with no recommended bail.

He said a separate operation was conducted by members of the WSS that led to the arrest of Saliguma who is also facing rape and sexual assault charges at the same court.
