MB Daily News Update: Saudi starts hiring OFWs anew Monday


The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit in Cambodia, Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meetings in Thailand, and the ASEAN-European Union (EU) Commemorative Summit in Brussels will be up for President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. before the end of the year.

Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Secretary Susan “Toots” Ople disclosed that Saudi Arabia will start re-hiring Filipino workers anew on Monday, Nov. 7, 2022.

While there will be a slight decrease in the price per liter of diesel and kerosene, an 80 centavos to P1 per liter increase in gasoline is expected this Tuesday.

Meanwhile, after getting battered by two successive weather disturbances in the last two weeks, the country will be cyclone-free in the next five days, according to the state weather agency.
