Ynna Asistio welcomes first child


Former actress Ynna Asistio recently gave birth.

She announced this via social media.

On Instagram, the daughter of actress Nadia Montenegro and former Caloocan Mayor Macario "Boy" Asistio, Jr. introduced her baby girl to the public.

According to her, she welcomed Ava Zafina Asistio Carbonell last Oct. 26 at 3:03 a.m. via normal delivery.

In the caption, Ynna shared that a few weeks ago she got confined due to "pre-term labor" and was on strict bed rest for almost two weeks.

Then on Oct. 25, her amniotic sac ruptured.

She was in labor for 15 hours.

"Ngayon ko lang naiintindihan yung sinsabi nila na grabe and experience of giving birth - life changing and it made me realize how amazing it is to be a mother," she said.

Ynna noted how all of the pain, contractions, and internal examination were all worth it.

"First time I saw you baby nawala lahat ng pain you came so early pero ang perfect ng timing mo! Hehe," she told her daughter.

She then thanked everyone for all their prayers, as well as, her doctor for helping her throughout her pregnancy.

"I couldn’t have done it without your support and guidance, as well as my family and friends thank you for all your prayers," she added.

"My baby spent one week in NICU but now we’re finally home! Thank you also to my husband (Bully Carbonell) for taking care of me. Til this day, I can’t believe na nanay na ako!!! Pero grabeng saya ng feeling. Salamat sainyong lahat! Thank you Lord for this wonderful blessing."

Ynna announced her engagement to Bully a few months ago.

Then days later, she revealed her pregnancy.

Last August when Ynna and Bully tied the knot via an intimate ceremony.
