Belangel finished with his best game so far in KBL with 25 points on a 6-of-10 clip from beyond the arc to help the Pegasus snap a three-game slide with a 92-82 victory over Goyang Carrot Jumpers.

The Ateneo standout had ample support from his fellow imports and local crew with Lee Dae-sung adding 20 points and Murphy Holloway chipping in 17 points and 14 rebounds as Daegu led from start to finish to notch their second win through six games.

Abando, on the other hand, finally began his journey in the Korean league with Anyang’s 70-68 triumph over Suwon KT SonicBoom.

The high-flying wingman, who was still recovering from a groin injury he sustained in the practice, played limited minutes and contributed six points on a 3-of-7 shooting from the field, along with four rebounds in just 10 minutes of play.

Omari Spellman finished with 21 points and seven rebounds to show the way for Anyang which managed to pull through with the victory despite squandering a huge 19-point lead early in the third quarter.

Meanwhile, Changwon LG Sakers doused RJ Abarrientos and the Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus, 79-68. After a series of stellar plays during Ulsan’s three-game winning streak, Abarrientos was held to just nine points, five assists and four rebounds on a 2-of-7 shooting from the field.

Justin Knox paced the Phoebus with 17 points but was not enough to tow his team past the Sakers who had solid outings from Yi Jae do and Assem Marei who led the way with 18 points and seven assists, and 14 points and 13 rebounds, respectively.
