Korean star Lee Jung-jae says he will start filming ‘Star Wars’ series ‘The Acolyte’ in UK

“Squid Game” actor Lee Jung-jae provided some information about the “Star Wars” series “The Acolyte.”

Last month, it was reported that the Korean star bagged the lead role in the new Disney Plus Star Wars series and will co-star with Amandla Steinberg.

However, Lee Jung-jae said cannot tell any details as he signed a non-disclosure agreement regarding the series.

"Well, I can't say anything about it, really. I've signed the NDA (non-disclosure agreement), so... But I believe some details are going to be announced soon," he told Yonhap News, according to a report by SBS News.

He believes that he will be keeping mum even after he finished filming the series.

"I feel like they will ask me not to say anything about the movie even after I film finish filming everything though. Not only is this my first time doing a project outside Korea, but it's also my biggest project ever. So, I'm just sticking to what they're telling me. I'm like, 'Oh, this is how it works here!'" he said.

Lee Jung-jae said he is learning English for the series.

"I'm trying to improve my English skills for the series. I've been studying English every day. The shooting for the series hasn't begun yet, but will be starting soon. I'm not going straight back to Korea following the festival; I'm kicking off the shooting for the series in the UK."

Bespin Bulletin posted on Oct. 30 that “The Acolyte, was filming earlier this week at Shinfield Studios, Berkshire and that the production was utilising the large outdoor set located behind Shinfield Studios which looks to be a town or marketplace of some kind. Additionally onlookers have informed me that they saw multiple actors being ushered in and out of trailers including the series lead, Amandla Stenberg (Bodies Bodies Bodies).”
