Psychosocial assistance was also given to the returning individuals, PRC said on Friday, Oct. 28.

Three welfare desks, child-friendly activities, and psychological support program for 154 people were also set up in Sulu and Tawi-Tawi.

These, PRC said, were to make sure that the repatriates will "receive the necessary assistance to cope with the situation."

Also, 138 returnees from Zamboanga City also participated in PRC's hygiene promotion activities.

"PRC Welfare Services, under the Restoring Family Links (RFL) program, provided free calls to 110 individuals in Tawi-Tawi and Zamboanga to restore and maintain contact between family members and returnees," the organization added.
