Gerald Anderson is not keen on "flexing" his achievements particularly on social media.
He doesn't feel the need to.
According to the 33-year-old actor, he is "secure" where he is and with what he has.
He sees no reason to flex the same if only to gain attention.
"Hindi mo kailangan laging patunayan yung sarili mo or 'yung parang laging naghahanap ka ng attention. Kasi, kapag naghahanap ka ng attention - and then sa social media mo pa ito hinahanap - it can be very dangerous."
He made clear, though, "May mga bagay na dapat i-flex para sa lahat. (Pero) may mga bagay na dapat i-flex mo lang para sa pamilya mo, para sa sarili mo."
Prodded as to what he wants to flex the most, Gerald answered: "My happiness. My situation in life."
He explained, "Kasi at 33, I'm content. I'm happy. Pero nandun pa din yung motivation ko to achieve more. I acknowledge kung ano yung mga na achieve ko but there's more to come. So, my biggest flex, at least right now is yung sitwasyon ko - being happy, being content but also still wanting to achieve more."
Gerald is to appear in this month's issue of Star Magic's Flex, a digital video magazine that champions modern masculinity.
In it, Gerald talks about his relationship with Julia Barretto and why he considers her the "love of my life."
"Yung pagiging supportive niya sa akin ay kakaiba. I think yun yung key factor kung bakit ang dami naming nalagpasan," he said in the video.
