He was able to hold the concert despite having a sore throat.

“It’s not something like that but I kinda have a sore throat right now,” he told the audience.

Despite this, he said, “I am very happy that I could have a live concert with you guys.”

Kang Daniel gained fame in 2017 when he became a member and center of the K-pop boy band Wanna One, which became active until January 2019. He launched his solo debut in July 2019 with the album “Color on Me.”

His last visit to Manila was in October 2019 when he held his first fan meeting tour. Due to the pandemic, he said, he had to do concerts and other activities online.

“For a long time, I had to do my concert alone. I could only contact Danity and everyone just online, right? And I feel very good right now because I could do my concert with the cheers and warm greetings,” he said.

Kang Daniel performed 17 songs at his Manila concert. He opened the concert with “Flash,” a track from his “Magenta” album that was released in 2020.

He also sang “Parade,” “Don't Tell,” “Waves,” “Touchin',” “Jealous,” “2U,” “Upside Down,” “How We Live,” “Misunderstood,” “Loser” and “Antidote.”

“I was thinking, like if I wanted to do a concert here in Manila, I was planning to do something we can participate or join together,” he said.

During the show, Kang Daniel played the “Balance Game” about topics sent by fans and he had to choose between two options.

He finished his set with “Paranoia,” “Save U,” “1000x,” “Moment” and “Adulthood.”

“Thank you so much for everyone here joining me for the ‘First Parade’ in Manila. I will try my best to come back and meet you guys as soon as possible,” Kang Daniel bid goodbye to the audience.

The “Kang Daniel ‘First Parade’ in Manila” was presented by Konnect Entertainment and Genie Music, and promoted by Wilbros Live.
