The allegations of abuse perpetrated against rookie K-pop boy band Omega X continued in the US.
Omega X debuted in 2021 with 11 members: Jaehan, Sebin, Hwichan, Yechan, Hangyeom, Taedong, Xen, Jehyun, Kevin, Junghoon and Hyuk.
Omega X made headlines after a video alleged that the CEO of Spire Entertainment verbally and physically assaulted the boy band in Los Angeles after holding their Omega X World Tour.
“I was just waiting outside for my Uber Eats order, and I witnessed the CEO hitting the members. My hands were shaking so hard and I didn't know what to do. They were hit right in front of me, but I couldn't do anything," a fan in LA posted on Twitter after witnessing the incident, according to SBS News.
On Oct. 25, SBS Entertainment News reported that members of Omega X had to pay for their flight so they could go back to Korea after their agency canceled their tickets.
The report stated that the 11 members of the boy band and one manager took a flight from Los Angeles to Korea on Oct. 24.
They were originally planning to fly back on Oct. 23 but Spire Entertainment canceled their flight tickets, leaving them abandoned.
According to the report, Omega X members bought plane tickets with the help of their parents.
In addition, it stated that the CEO of the agency was escorted by hotel security after making a fuss or knocking on the doors of the rooms occupied by Omega X members.
SBS Entertainment News added that Los Angeles police were dispatched to the scene twice.
Omega X members are expected to land at Incheon International Airport on Oct. 25.
