They were operational after two months of rehabilitation work by the City General Services Office ordered by Dalipe when he assumed office on June 30.

The famed swimming pools have become an amusement and entertainment landmark for residents and other visitors all year round.

Dalipe spearheaded their reopening in a bid to revive the economy and tourism industry of this city after the pandemic.

The pools are among attractions in Barangay Pasonanca which include the Pasonanca Park, La Jardin de Maria Clara Lobregat or Butterfly Garden, El Museo de Zamboanga, and the Bird Sanctuary.
