Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) announces their entry into the seven-seater MPV segment with the arrival of the Stargazer at local dealerships on November 8, 2022.
Initially offered in Jakarta, Indonesia, the Philippines is privileged to be the second market to offer the Stargazer. It will be available in three variants: the 1.5 GL, 1.5 GLS and 1.5 GLS Premium.

It has a futuristic character with its distinct horizontal LED daytime running lights and front end layout, its profile has a unique “one-curve” silhouette which gives it optimized cabin head room which also improves aerodynamics. The rear has unique H-shaped tail lights.
The Stargazer easily seats seven occupants due to its class leading wheelbase length, allowing more room for both second and third row passengers along with flexible seat configurations. The cabin has an abundance of storage spaces, cup and bottle holders, a hidden dashboard tray, seatback table and headrest bag hook. It has an all-digital TFT LCD instrument cluster. The entertainment system is an 8” touchscreen with Bluetooth, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and a wireless charger.
All variants are powered by the Smartstream 1.5 liter gasoline engine which puts out 115Ps at 6300rpm with144Nm of torque at 4500rpm, mated to an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) and has four selectable drive modes - ECO, Comfort, Sport and Smart.
The Stargazer is equipped with Hyundai Smart Sense, their advanced driver assist system which includes: Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Blind Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Safe Exit Warning, High Beam Assist, Lane Follow Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Reverse Parking Distance Warning, Manual Speed Limit Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Rear View Monitor and Tire Pressure Monitoring System.
