CCP's Triple Threats 2022 brings out Markki Stroem, Arman Ferrer, and Poppert Bernadas

After the successful concert from 2013 to 2018, this series is now back on track. Featuring the tenor voices of Markki, Arman, and Poppert, the event will be held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines’ Tanghalang Ignacio Gimenez (CCP Black Box Theater). 

Triple Threats presents a series of solo concerts featuring the stalwarts of Philippine Musical Theater. An intimate event that consists of its concepts, and arrangement of songs made personally by the artists. 

Opening the concert last Friday, Oct. 14, with the title "Leading" Markki shared during the press huddle his experience in creating his concept for the concert. 

"Parang thesis, itong concert na to for us kasi it's just putting everything we've learned together in one show, and try to be an accumulation of everything we gathered, all the knowledge we learn from directors, dancers and co-actors," Marrki shared.

Performing the second act on Nov. 18, Arman Ferrer, billed as “All of Me”. From becoming an uprising theater actor, he also received good reviews for his performance in CCP's two original musicals for Director Joel Lamangan, “Maynila: Sa Mga Kuko ng Liwanag” and “Binondo: A Tsinoy Musical”. 

"It's an honor to be part of this cast kasi, yung years na binubuo, and then finally it's a dream come true performing a solo concert in CCP," Arman mentioned. 

Closing the series on Dec. 21 will be Poppert Bernadas, a complete and world-class performer through his unwavering passion for his craft as a singer and actor, dubbed “Ang Musika, ang Teatro at Ako”.
