The Maynilad Water Services Inc. announced that nine Metro Manila cities and a part of Bulacan Province will experience daily water service interruption for nine days from Oct. 17 to 25.
Maynilad said water service interruption will be implemented due high water demand in Bagbag resevior.
Maynilad said Caloocan, Quezon City, Valenzuela, Manila Malabon, Navotas, Makati, Parañaque, Pasay, and the province of Bulacan will experience water service cutoff for nine days.
Maynilad customers are advised to check the time of water interruption to be implemented in their barangays.
The communities to be affected by water interruption in Caloocan from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. are Barangays 167 to 171, 174 to 180, 182 to 188.
Meanwhile, areas to be affected by the interruption from 12 midnight to 4:00 a.m. are Barangays 1 to 6, 8, 10 to 23, 25 to 28, 30 to 38, 40 to 44, 46 to 50, 52, to 71, 73, 74, 77, 80, 93,97,98, 101, 103, 105, 107, 109 to 118, 120, 122 to 131, 148, 149, 152 to 154, 159, 160, 162, 163, North Bay Boulevard, and San Jose.
In Quezon City, Barangays 170, Bagong Silang, Batasan Hills, Commonwealth, Greater Fairview, Greater Lagro, Gulod, Holy Spirit, Kaligayahan, NagKaisang-Nayon, North Fairview, Pasong Putik, Payatas, San Augustin, San Bartolome,Sauyo, Sta. Lucia, Sta. Monica, and Talipapa will experience water interruption from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. .
In Barangays A. Samson, Balingasa, Done Josefa Marcos, Lourdes, Maharlika, Manresa, Masambong, Saint Peter, Salvacion, San Isidro Labrador, San Jose, Santa Teresita, Sto. Domingo, Siena, Talayan, Tatalon, 131, Pag-ibigsa Nayon and San Jose, water interruption will be implemented from 12:00 midnight to 4:00 a.m.
Water cutoff from 10:00 p.,m. to 4:00 a.m. will affect Barangays Arkong Bato, Balangkas, Bisig, Coloong, Dalandanan, Gen. T. De Leon, Isla, Karuhatan, Mabolo, Malanday, Malinta, Marulas, Maysan, Palasan, Parada, Pariancillo Villa, Pasalo, Poblacion, Polo, Rincon, Tagalog, Ugong, Vicente Riales and Wawang Pulo in Valenzuela City.
In Bulacan, only Barangay Catanghalan will be affected by the water interruption schedule.
Water interruption from 12 midnight to 4:00 a.m. will also be implemented in Manila, Malabaon and Navotas.
The communities to be affected in Manila are Barangays 1 to 10, 18, 20, 48 to 66, 68 to 71, 74,75,76, 78, 81, 119, 102, 121, 124 to 153, 155, 160, 163, 168 to 172, 177 to 186, 198 to 276, 281 to 287, 289 to 292, 294 to 325, 329, 330, 335 to 472, 474 to 478, 482 to 501, 504 to520, 570, 571, 576, 626 to 648, 654,655,657 to 661, 663,664 666 to 672 674,676, 696 to701, 202-A, 660-A,663-A, and 664-A.
In Malabon City, the affected areas are Barangays 14, 31, 161, Acacia, Baritan, Bayan-Bayanan, Catmon, Concepcion, Dampalit, Flores,Hulong Duhat, Ibaba, Longos, Muzon, Niogan, Potrero, San Augustin, Tanong, Tinajeros, Tonsuya and Tugatog.
In Navotas City -- Barangays 12,14, Bagumbayan, North Bagumabayan, Bangkulasi, Daanghari, Novotas East, Navotas West, North Bay Boulevard, San Jose, San Rafael, San Roque, Sipac-Almacen, Tangos and Tanza.
Three cities in the southern Metro Manila to experience water service interruption from 12midnight to 6:00 a.m. are Makati, Parañaque and Pasay.
In Makati City, affected areas are Barangays Bangkal and Palanan; while in Parañaque – 183, 201, Don Bosco, Marcelo Green, Merville, Moonwalk, San Antonio, San Isidro and Sun Valley.
In Pasay City -- Barangays 41 to 49, 51, 52, 53, 56 to 59, 63 to 68, 71 to 75, 80, 81, 84, 85,86, 89, 91, 93 to 99, 101, 104 106 to 110, 112 to 115, 118, 120, 122, 123, 125, 126 , 128, 130, 131, 133, 135, to 138, 140, 142, 181 to 185, 201, and Bangkal.
Maynilad advised its customers to store enough water during the interruption and let the water flow for few minutes until it clears upon water resumption.
Maynilad water tankers will also do the rounds in the affected areas to deliver potable water. Stationary tanks will also be installed in several areas.
