No plan to ship Allyn Bulanadi, Tyrus Hill to NorthPort as Aldin Ayo denies trade reports

Converge head coach Aldin Ayo denied earlier reports of a proposed trade between his team and NorthPort that will see them let go of young forward Tyrus Hill and streaky shooter Allyn Bulanadi for Jerrick Balanza and Kevin Ferrer.

“Hindi totoo yun di ko alam kung bakit may mga balitang ganun eh,” said Ayo on Friday, Oct. 7 following the FiberXers loss to the Bay Area Dragons, 106-100.

Ayo made sure to clear the air regarding the reported possible trade as it affected the performance of both Bulanadi and Hill.

“Naapektuhan si Tyrus and Allyn buti si Allyn kanina medyo na-shrug off yung mga distraction na mga ganyan nakapaglaro na siya ng maayos pero hindi totoo yun nakakaawa naman yung bata may mga ganyang balita na hindi naman (totoo),” he added.

Indeed, it seemed Bulanadi has started to shug off the trade rumors finishing with 11 points although he shot 3-of-13 from the field while Hill was a DNP in the loss to the Dragons.

“I told them naman na wag magpaakpekto sa mga ganyan, mga ganyang distraction maavoid yan kung maganda lang yung communication dun lang sa inner core sa amin alam naman nila na hindi totoo eh so bakit mo papatulan,” he added

Ayo also insisted that the two players are part of Converge’s future plans as he also hopes to further develop their potential and become one of the solid contributors for the FiberXers.

“We are planning to develop this young players, alam namin may mga potential pero potential palang eh so we really have to work on them tatrabahuin namin,” said Ayo.
