Ivan John Uy, who was selected by Marcos to lead the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), was reappointed on Thursday, Oct. 6.

He also took his oath office before the President on the same day.

Uy was among the 14 officials whose nominations were bypassed by the COA recently. Majority of them have already been designated anew by Marcos.

Two of them—former Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles and Commission on Audit (COA) chair Jose Calida—have already stepped down from their positions.
