Bulacan's biggest business group donates 3,000 food packs to Karding victims


More than 3,000 food packs were turned over by the Bulacan Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Incorporated (BFCCCII) headed by its president Arthur Chua Dy to the Bulacan government through Gov. Daniel R. Fernando and Vice Gov. Alexis C. Castro.

Katrina Anne B. Balingit, Provincial Public Affairs Office (PPAO) chief, said the more than 3,000 food packs that were handed over by the BFCCCII last Monday, Oct.3, will be distributed to the Bulakenyo victims of Typhoon Karding.

The BFCCCII also gave P30,000 cash assistance to each bereaved family of the five Bulacan rescuer heroes -- Jerson Resurreccion, Marby Bartolome, George Agustin, Narciso Calayag, Jr., and Troy Justin Agustin.

Balingit said Governor Fernando and Vice gov. Castro thanked the BFCCCII for their support to the Bulacan government.
