No water in parts of Caloocan, Valenzuela, QC on Oct. 5

The Maynilad Water Services, Inc. announced that 19 barangays in Caloocan, Valenzuela, and Quezon Cities may experience water service interruption on Wednesday, Oct. 5.

It said at around 8:20 a.m. on Wednesday that the low pressure to no water supply in the areas is due to an emergency facility repair caused by the power interruption at the La Mesa Pumping Station.

The areas affected by the water interruption are barangays 165, 166, and 167 in Caloocan City; and barangays Gulod, Nagkaisang Nayon, and Sta. Monica in Quezon City.

In Valenzuela City , the affected barangays are Bagbaguin, Bignay, East and West Canumay, Gen. T. De Leon, Lawang Bato, Lingunan, Mapulang Lupa, Maysan, Parada, Paso De Blas, Punturin, and Ugong.

Maynilad said the estimated time of resumption of water service in the barangays is at around 11 p.m. on the same day.

It added that there might be some delays in water service resumption in some areas due to various factors such as the their distance to the pumping station.

"We apologize for the inconvenience," Maynilad said.
