Netizens praised the pink mobile car while some raised the issue of politics as pink is associated with former vice president Leni Robredo.

“No political side intent on this, nakakatuwa ung innovation. Seriously kaaya-ayang tingnan ung patrol car (No political side intent on this, the innovation is gladdening. Seriously the patrol car is pleasing to look at),” one netizen commented on a post by the Muntinlupa City government on Facebook.

Another said, “Love the Color!” while one netizen posted, “Lening leny ang datingan (It is so very Leny).”

“Hahaha nilagyan na naman ng kulay ng mga hindi makausad paano no ung mga gamit ng mga anak nyong babae na pink pinagtatapon ninyo. hayaan ninyo magkaroon din ng kulay pula at kulay berde ang muntinlupa para sa inyo (Hahaha those who cannot move on put color again. You threw away the pink things of your daughters. Don’t worry, Muntinlupa will also have the colors red and green for you),” one netizen said.

Another commented, “Opinion ko lang po.sana wag na nating question nin ang kulay. Maging masaya nalang tau at mag kaisa para sa ikabubuti ng ating bayan (This is my opinion, let us not question the color. We should be happy and be united for the sake of our country).”

Mayor Ruffy Biazon said the pink mobile car is the first in Metro Manila.

“Isa itong dedicated vehicle para sa WCPC natin sa Muntinlupa, at magagamit para sa mas mabilis na pagresponde at pagsuporta sa mga bata at kababaihang nakakaranas ng pang-aabuso (This is a dedicated vehicle for our WCPC in Muntinlupa and this can be used to immediately respond and support children and women who experience abuse),” he said.

Biazon said the pink color was chosen as this is “child-friendly at matagal nang ginagamit ng women and child protection unit ang kulay na ito (child-friendly and the color has long been used by the women and child protection unit).”

He said the pink mobile car was an initiative of the Muntinlupa Gender and Development Office that was formerly headed by his wife, Trina. The mayor said the office helped the WCPC in completing its needs, including computers.
