A fire hit a commercial-residential area along Taft Avenue in Manila on Tuesday, Oct. 4.
According to the initial report of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire broke out on M. Padilla Street in Rafael Alunan St., Manila at around 8:55 a.m. on Tuesday.
The fire was declared under control at 9:20 a.m.
The Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) also temporarily halted its operations from Baclaran to Balintawak during the fire.
"Our Operations team is currently monitoring a fire incident near Vito Cruz Station. Please allow additional travel time of about 15 minutes," the management said in a Twitter post.
As of 9:15, the LRMC said all 19 stations of LRT1 resumed its operations.
