1 hurt as fire hits 3 houses in Taguig City


A person was injured in a fire that hit three homes in Taguig City on Sunday, Oct. 2.

According to the Taguig City Fire Station, the fire started from a house on Viscara Street in Purok 1, Barangay New Lower Bicutan at about 9:14 p.m. on Oct. 2.

The fire reached the first alarm at 9:26 p.m. and was put under control at 9:48 p.m. before it was put out at 9:55 p.m.

The Taguig City Fire Station identified the injured individual as Rayven Ison, 38, who suffered a laceration in the right index finger.

Three houses were totally burned affecting 11 families or 48 individuals. The damage to properties was pegged at about P300,000. The cause of the fire is being investigated.

A total of 10 fire trucks and one ambulance responded to the fire.
