In formal criminal complaints submitted to the Department of Justice, Makati Revenue Regional Director Florante R. Aninag named the respondents as Asiaprime Properties of Amorsolo St. Corner Javier St.; Laetitia Food of San Lorenzo Village; Felicity Home Accessories of Greenbelt, Ayala Center;

Pocketsoft Philippines of Ayala Avenue; Be Our Guest Philippines of Southgate Mall, Chino Roces Avenue; Spicy of Hunan of Barangay Poblacion; and Knoll Ridges Consultancy of Bel Air Village.

Aninag recommended the filing of criminal charges to BIR Commissioner Lilia Catris Guillermo after the accused reportedly ignored strings of assessment and collection notices to settle the back accounts incurred in 2017 and prior years.

Responsible officers of the firms, mostly president and treasurer, were also included in the charged sheets.

Spicy of Hunan was slapped the highest deficiency income and business taxes amounting to P44 million, followed by Felicity Home and Knoll Ridges Consultancy at P26 million and P23 million, respectively.
