P632,000 shabu seized from 2 drug pushers in Central Luzon


CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Two notorious drug pushers were arrested by authorities in separate buy-bust operations in Central Luzon on Thursday, Sept. 29.

The Police Regional Office-3 identified the suspects as Ronaldo de Luna, 48, a regional high-value individual, 48, and Maximo dela Cruz, 67.

De Luna was arrested in Barangay Cutcut, Angeles City and seized from him were a grenade and five heat-sealed sachets containing suspected shabu weighing more or less eight grams and valued at P54,000.

Dela Cruz was nabbed in Barangay Poblacion, Santa Maria, Bulacan. He yielded 13 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 85 grams with a street value of P578,000.

Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied against the suspects for court referral.
