Korean stars Park Seo-joon and Han So-hee will be starring in the Netflix thriller series “Gyeongseong Creature.”
“Gyeongseong Creature” is set in 1945 in Gyeongseong (former name of Seoul) and tells the story about individuals going up against monstrous creatures that were born out of human greed.
Park Seo-joon, star of the dramas “Itaewon Class” and “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim,” will play the role of Jang Tae-sang, the head of merchant marketplace Golden Jade House who is the wealthiest and most well-connected person in Gyeongseong.
He puts money before justice until he meets Yun Chae-ok (Han So-hee) while investigating a series of missing person cases.
Han So-hee gained fame through the Korean drama “The World of the Married.” In the Netflix series, she is Yun Chae-ok, a bounty hunter who can track down missing people even those who are dead.
Joining the two stars in the drama are Claudia Kim and Wi Ha-jun of “Squid Game.”
In the series, Claudia Kim will play the role of Maeda, the wife of a powerful official in Gyeongseong during the colonial period. Her acting credits include “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” and “Marco Polo.”
Wi Ha-jun, who is currently starring in “Little Women,” is Gwon Jun-taek, Jang Tae-sang's best friend who joins him in rescuing missing people.
The screenwriter of “Gyeongseong Creature” is Kang Eun-kyung, who wrote “Dr. Romantic” and “Dalja’s Spring,” and the director is Jeong Dong-yun, who helmed “Hot Stove League.”
