DND spokesman tests positive for Covid-19


Department of National Defense (DND) spokesperson Arsenio Andolong has tested positive for Covid-19, it was revealed Wednesday, Sept. 28.

"This is to inform you that Dir. Arsenio R. Andolong, Defense Communications Service Chief, tested positive with COVID-19," the DND announced to reporters.

Apparently, the soft-spoken official was placed under quarantine after he experienced some "symptoms."

The DND reminded the public to keep safe as the pandemic proves to be far from over.

The Department of Health (DOH) recorded 1,555 new cases on Tuesday.

The country has a total record of 3,941,656 cases including 38,315 active cases; 62,849 fatalities; and 3,840,492 recoveries as of Sept. 27.
