K-pop idol-actor Kim Myung-soo holds fan meeting following military discharge


Actor Kim Myung-soo, also known as member L of K-pop boy band Infinite, held his first fan meeting after being discharged from the military last month.

The good-looking star held his “I Never Left” fan meeting on Sept. 24 and 25 at Jangchung Arena in Seoul.

"Today was a very enjoyable and happy time. Please look forward to Part 2,” he posted on Instagram along with photos of the fan meeting.

He will hold another fan meeting on Oct. 2 at Kawaguchi Lilia concert hall in Saitama, Japan.

Last Aug. 21, Kim Myung-soo was discharged from the Korea Marine Corps after serving for 18 months. He enlisted on Feb. 22, 2021.

The following day, the 30-year-old star announced his discharge on Instagram and wrote, “I learned and felt a lot and had a healthy life as a marine. Thank you to everyone who waited. Part 2 begins.”

Kim Myung-soo will be an emcee at the 2022 Changwon K-pop World Festival that will be held on Oct. 7.

His last drama project before his enlistment last year was “Royal Secret Agent.” His other drama credits include “Welcome,” “Angel’s Last Mission: Love,” “Ms. Hammurabi” and “The Emperor: Owner of the Mask.”
