Park Inn by Radisson Davao recently welcomed its new general manager, Sven Toune.
With roots coming from the land of the waffles, chocolates, and beer – Belgium, Sven is not a stranger in the Philippines. He has been residing in the country with his beautiful family for the past 10 years by which a portion of that was spent in Ibis Styles, Myanmar.
In his duration of residency in the country, Sven opened Novotel in Quezon City and was general manager of Banwa Private Island – a lush and exclusive resort in Palawan prior to his arrival in Davao.
Aside from his knowledge in hospitality best practices that came from years of experience in various hotels, he can speak six languages: Dutch, French, German, English, Filipino, and throw in a bit of Bisaya! He also loves a great cup of coffee and music. To everyone’s surprise, he can fluently sing Willie Revillame’s "I Love You" amongst other Filipino songs.
Park Inn by Radisson Davao is the first Park Inn by Radisson hotel in the Philippines under SM Hotels and Conventions Corp., which opened its doors in March 2013. The 202-room upper midscale hotel in Davao is strategically located next to SM Lanang Premier Mall and SMX.
