No damage in Luzon airports, operations remain normal- CAAP


The operation of airports along the path of super typhoon "Karding" remains normal, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said on Monday, Sept. 26.

CAAP Acting Director General Captain Manuel Antonio "Skee" Tamayo, said there were also no damage on airports in Luzon based on their assessment.

Luzon airports in CAAP Area 1 are located in Baguio, Laoag, Vigan, Lingayen, Rosales, and San Fernando Airports while Area 2 include Tuguegarao, Cauayan, Palanan, Bagabag, Basco, and Itbayat.

Under Area 3 are located in Plaridel, Iba, Baler, Alabat, Jomalig, Calapan, Lubang, Mamburao, Marinduque, San Jose, Pinamalayan, Wasig, Romblon, and Sangley while Area 4 include Puerto Princesa, Busuanga, Cuyo, and San Vicente.

Area 5 are composed of the Bicol International Airport, Bulan, Sorsogon, Daet, Masbate, Naga, and Virac.
