Following a situation briefing with key Cabinet members on the aftermath of the typhoon, Marcos said he will fly "to see the level of water" but "will not land" in any area, so as not to disrupt any ongoing disaster response.

"Now we are going to fly and to see, talaga I wanted to see, what the level of the water is," Marcos said.

During the briefing, he did not specify the areas he will assess but he said "we will see how far we can go."

"Iba yung nakikita mo na siya (It's different when you see it). So, I will not land in any place," he said.

He explained that he does not want to interrupt the ongoing disaster-related response the local government units are doing just to welcome him and escort him during his landing.
