RSG Philippines is supposed to play the already-ran Nexplay Evos in the first game at 5 p.m. before the much-anticipated titanic clash between ECHO and Blacklist International.

“We are officially postponing the matches scheduled tomorrow, 25 September 2022, due to tropical cyclone “Karding” rapidly intensifying* into a typhoon while crossing through Central or Northern Luzon,” said the league in a statement.

“For the safety of our fans, players, and staff – the remaining Week 7 matches will be rescheduled to a later date. Please standby for the announcement of the new match schedules,” it added.

Playoff teams are already set after the elimination of TNC and NXPE on Saturday but the games which will be rescheduled to a later date will play a crucial role as teams are still in contention for the top two spots which will merit and outright upper bracket semifinals berth.

Karding is already battering east Luzon with strong winds and rains and is expected to continue as it intensifies before making a landfall and pass through Central Luzon.
