CAGAYAN -- The reactionary support and standby force and the search and rescue teams of the Cagayan Police Provincial Office are now on alert in preparation for Typhoon Karding.
Police Colonel Julio S. Gorospe Jr., Officer-in-Charge of Cagayan Police Provincial Office, led the accounting of personnel on Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Camp Tirso H. Gador, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.
The equipment for rescue are also ready.
Cagayano cops will continue to monitor their areas to keep the community safe.
Residents are also encouraged to be alert, prepare and be safe with the upcoming typhoon.
Different police stations also conducted Oplan Tambuli to alert their respective areas of responsibility on typhoon Karding.
Those who live in low-lying areas have been warned by the police.
