CEU Malolos named outstanding HEI for COVID-19 vaccination program


Centro Escolar University Malolos was recognized as one of the sixteen Outstanding Higher Education Institutions for the Covid-19 Vaccination Program by the Commission, through the Office of the Executive Director (OED), in partnership with CHED (Commission on Higher Education)—National Capital Region (NCR) and the Office of Planning, Research & Knowledge Management (OPRKM).

For Region III, CEU Malolos was the sole awardee for being able to mobilize the physical and human resources which contributed to achieving the objectives of the National Covid-19 Vaccination Program and Deployment Plan. The University exemplified the Bayanihan spirit by forging unity and cooperation among key stakeholders to expedite the vaccination against Covid-19 of their students, faculty, non-teaching personnel, and even members of the community.

CEU Malolos Vice President, Dr. Ma. Flordeliza Anastacio and the Lead Consultant of the Health Services Section, Dr. Esperancita Ferrer received the prestigious award during the recent Awarding Ceremony at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay.

Before the conduct of the limited face-to-face classes, the campus was also granted the Safety Seal certification by the Local Government of Malolos to affirm its compliance with the minimum public health standards to ensure a safe environment for the students and employees.
