No. 4 wanted person in Pasay City arrested in Bulacan

A 32-year-old man, tagged by the Pasay City police as the No. 4 most wanted person in the city, was arrested during a manhunt operation conducted by members of the Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) on Tuesday, Sept. 20, in Bulacan.

Col. Byron Tabernilla, city police chief, said the suspect, Romano Caperal, was arrested along Kangungan, Barangay Lawa, Obando, Bulacan.

Tabernilla said members of the WSS conducted a manhunt operation against Caperal after a warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Jehan Batua Sampao-Hassiman of Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 11 on April 22 for the arrest of the suspect for the crime of robbery.

He said Hassiman recommended a bail of P100,000 for the suspect's temporary liberty.

Southern Police District (SPD) Director, Col. Kirby John Kraft, said the relentless and vigorous manhunt operation being carried out by the SPD will continue to weed out all unlawful elements that terrorize the community.
