PRC: 253 out of 389 pass Mining Engineer Licensure Exam


The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 253 out of 389 examinees have passed the Mining Engineer Licensure Examination.

The exam, given by the Board of Mining Engineering last August and September 2022, was held in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, and Legazpi.

University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman topped the said exam with a 100 percent rating. It was followed by Mindanao State University Iligan Institute of Tech (90 percent), and University of Southeastern Philippines in Davao City (85.11 percent).

Meanwhile, John Martin Rivera Cirio of UP Diliman emerged as the top-performing examinee with a rating of 89.40 percent.

Completing the list of the examinees who garnered the highest places in the exam were the following:

3. Gavrie Bryan Arboleda Mascardo (UP Diliman, 89.10 percent)

4. Nathaniel Abantao Chagas (UP Diliman, 89.00 percent)

5. Albert Justine Garcia Arnedo (UP Diliman, 88.30 percent)

6. Neal Audrey Alvarez San Diego (Adamson University, 87.95 percent)

7. John Kenneth Salces Suan (UP Diliman, 87.40 percent)

8. Angelino Del Rosario Atadero (UP Diliman, 87.35 percent)

9. Stella Maris Rivera Bautista (UP Diliman, 86.70 percent)

10. Renee Moster Daza (UP Diliman, 86.65 percent)
