KAWIT, Cavite – Two construction workers found unexploded ordnance (UXO) in Barangay San Sebastian here on Monday, Sept. 19.
The Kawit Municipal Police Station (MPS) said the men were digging along the side of a river in preparation for a drainage system construction when they came across the UXO.
The construction workers surrendered 45 pieces of M203 unfired grenade launcher ammunition they found scattered through the soil.
Kawit MPS requested the assistance of the Explosive and Ordnance Unit for the proper disposition of the UXO.
