In a Facebook post, the UPLB Department of Electrical Engineering said that all 18 examinees from the department are now licensed electrical engineers.

Two UPLB graduates made it to the top 10 highest places in the September 2022 REE board exam.

They are Ryan Francis Ner Alva in 4th place (90.55 percent) and Ymelson Asis Llantino in 7th place (90.05 percent).

UPLB said that this has "reclaimed its 100% passing rate in the REE" which began in 2009.

Meanwhile, one UP Diliman graduate landed in the 5th spot. He is Jossel Itto Salao Marquez with an average of 90.50 percent.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 2,467 out of 4,914 examinees passed the REE board exam held last Sept. 3 to 4.

It was given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
