President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. left for the United States on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022, to participate in the 77th United Nations General Assembly where he is expected to engage with world leaders, and make sure that the country’s voice is heard in the world stage.
Meanwhile, just as in Marcos’ state visits to Indonesia and Singapore earlier this month, Vice President Sara Duterte will be acting as government caretaker while the President is away.
The Commission on Elections (Comelec) reported high voter turnout in Saturday’s Maguindanao plebiscite to decide if it could be divided into two provinces, namely, Maguindao Del Norte and Maguindanao Del Sur.
Fair weather is expected in the coming week as the effects of “habagat” is going to be felt only in the western portion of Southern Luzon.
