The Angeles City Police Office under the supervision of PCol Juritz Rara together with the Anti-Kidnapping Group Clark Satellite Office conducted a deeper investigation that resulted in the rescue of 41 Chinese nationals from Lucky 99 Outsourcing Inc. on Saturday, Sept. 17.

The establishment located at the Fil-Am Highway in Barangay Pampang, Angeles City was permanently padlocked after it was found to be operating with expired license.

Department of Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr together with BGEN. Cesar Pasiwen, Police Regional Office 3 director, and Wilma Clores, Enforcement Officer of PAGCOR, led the closure of the said establishment.

In a separate operation, the Angeles City police also raided the KOA Hotel in Clark Freeport Zone where 190 Chinese nationals were billeted.

The two operations stemmed from the rescue of 43 foreign nationals who were allegedly employed but detained in a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operation (POGO) in Angeles City early Wednesday (Sept. 14).

Abalos said the DILG, together with the Philippine National Police, will continue its intensified campaign against all forms of criminals in all levels.

Police said the rescued Chinese nationals will be thoroughly checked by the Bureau of Immigration for proper disposition to ensure that they are all in good condition.
