Parañaque LGU, IBP conduct free legal aid and medical services


The local government of Parañaque in coordination with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) offered free legal aid and medical services to city residents on Friday, Sept. 16.

Mayor Eric Olivarez said the IBP Pasay-Parañaque- Las Piñas-Muntinlupa Chapter conducted the free services at SM Sucat, 2nd floor Building B from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Olivarez advised residents with legal problems to visit SM Sucat and look for Atty. Danny Gapasin.

He said the program offered by the IBP chapter was part of the Rule of Law Month celebration.

The mayor said the group offered legal advice/consultation, drafting of simple affidavits, notarization of simple affidavits and other legal documents for free.

He said aside from legal aids, the other activities offered were processing of PhilSys National ID application, Philhealth registration for senior citizens and other related concerns; dental oral examination, random blood sugar test, and other medical services.
