5 drug pushers fall, P643,000 shabu seized in Central Luzon


CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – The Philippine National Police (PNP) arrested five notorious drug pushers and seized suspected shabu worth over P600,000 in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Central Luzon on Sept. 14 and 15.

The Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit and Police Station 1 arrested Helland Bautista, alias “Tykes,” 43, a high-value individual, of Mexico, Pampanga on San Ramon St., Barangay Santo Domingo, Angeles City.

Three small to medium-size plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 55 grams with a Dangerous Drug Board value of P374,000 were seized.

Edmond Pascual, 47, of Bocaue, Bulacan and Ramon Christopher Borris, 34, of Marilao, Bulacan were nabbed and yielded four plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 25.9 grams worth P176,120.

The Cabanatuan City police nabbed Anyernel Reyes and Ronel Roxas, both of Cabanatuan, in Barangay San Josef Norte, Cabanatuan.

Recovered from them were sachets containing shabu weighing 13.77 grams valued at P93,636.

All in all, 14 transparent plastic sachets of shabu weighing 94.67 grams with a DDB value of P643,756 and two P1,000 marked money were confiscated.

Suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act (RA) No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
