Iyan De Jesus' masterpieces pay Kaida Contemporary Gallery a visit

Imagery that is rooted from poetry, mythology, legend, and allegory

Let Manila-based artist Iyan De Jesus transport you to a different world this Sept.18 at Kaida Contemporary Gallery.

Posed as a solo exhibit, "A Slow and Endless Drizzle" is yet another beautiful depiction of her way around machine-like elements with organic and natural forms resulting in work being filled by lyrical symbolism and mechanical romanticism.

She expressed that for this year, most of her works are more about consciousness, self-awareness, and healing, which means she had to look back to her patters and past choices in a more profound way.

Having studied Architecture, her love for distinct lines and structure can be clearly viewed in her paintings, limited edition sculptures, and artistic prints. Being an illustrator and designer also have an influence in her work as clean and intelligible depictions of settings could be easily understood in her pieces

De Jesus has shown her works around the globe. Europe, Asia, and the United States being some of them. Now, she's sharing her pieces to her fellow Filipinos through her exhibit this Sunday.
