MB Daily News Update: DepEd eyeing new K to 12 curriculum

At the House briefing for the Department of Education (DepEd) budget, Vice President and concurrent DepEd Secretary Sara Duterte disclosed that a new K to 12 curriculum will be adopted after the department finished reviewing the original version of the curriculum, which was first implemented during the administration of former president Benigno Aquino III.

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. said he saw no problem in ABS-CBN getting a new franchise.

Another big story in the last 24 hours was the announcement of the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) that the temporary ban on the deployment of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) to Saudi Arabia will be lifted on Nov. 7, 2022.

And as the House of Representatives starts to wind-up its briefings on the P5.368-trillion 2023 national budget, the Senate starts its own deliberations on the budget measure.
