Central Luzon cops rescue five minor victims of human trafficking 


CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga -- Four minors who were allegedly victims of trafficking were rescued in Bulacan on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 10, by Central Luzon cops.

Police Regional Office 3 acting director Brigadier General Cesar Pasiwen said a report on the alleged illegal activities at DM Travellers Inn Garahe in Brgy. Sta. Barbara, Baliwag, Bulacan reached their knowledge.

According to the reports, the minor victims were allegedly involved in sex trade.

Pasiwen said that different law enforcement units joined forces and rescued the minor victims during an entrapment operation inside the DM travelers Inn premises in Baliwag.

The raiders also arrested another minor who was the alleged recruiter.

The four minor victims and the suspect were brought to the Regional Anti- Trafficking in Person Task Group (RATTG 3) for proper disposition.

Pasiwen stressed that the operation served as a strong message to the law breakers that the Philippine National Police will continue its focused operations to curb all forms of criminality in the country.
